Ok, I've talked about male crushes...

...now for my girl crushes! Looking through them, I don't really think I have a female "type" as I do a male one. What do you think?
Patricia Arquette
Lucy Liu
Gina Torres
Ashley Judd
Amber Benson
I had to post something light today - I'm crazy-busy, and I don't have much to say anyway. So here you go!
More later - or tomorrow.
Ta!

The only one I can agree with personally, is Ashley Judd. Ever since I saw her admit that she never wears underwear (and she means NEVER), I've had a thing for her.

Anne, it seems as if the women you have crushes on are more based on the strong characters they play on the screen, yes? Mine are usually based on the fact that I wished I looked like them, like Helena Bonham-Carter.

What are everyone else's same-sec celebrity crushes based on?

Ashley Judd is beautiful. I like Lucy Liu because she has freckles and so do I-plus we're both Asian, even if we are from different countries, but I hardly ever see an Asian girl in a film who's not a prostitute or stripper so her strong characters are refreshing. I don't know that I really have a woman 'type' in celeb crushes. Lookswise I always just like natural-looking, confident people who smile a lot whatever the weight, haircut or eye color.-I see beautiful girls everyday that are just as pretty, if not prettier than most celebrities just walking around the store or the beach.

That's a really good photo of Patricia Arquette. I think I find qualities attractive. The more of those particular qualities the I perceive that a person has, then the more attractive they become. On the other hand they can be stunning yet I have no interest because they lack some important quality. Or so my twisty brain tells me. I'd like a resemblance to Helena Bonham-Carter myself. Or Fairuza Balk. Alas, that is not the case! ;)

OK, I'm glad you brought this up. I like all your choices. As for me, Selma Hayek is pretty darn fascinating. And Helen Mirren. Oh--and when I was younger, I had a massive crush on Gena Rowlands in the film Gloria--because I wished I was that strong. So--each of those women have different qualities that I admire.

I really love Ashley Judd. Even though I obviously don't know her in real life, it just seems like she'd be a nice person to meet.
